Football Game Preview: Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors vs. Columbia Coyotes + How To Watch

Cle Elum-Roslyn is 0-5 against Columbia since March of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cle Elum-Roslyn will bounce into Saturday's game after beating La Salle, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Warriors claimed a resounding 47-0 victory over the Lightning. The Warriors pushed the score to 41-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lightning had no chance of recovering from.

Quinn Carlson was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 46 yards and a pair of scores.

Cle Elum-Roslyn's run defense was locked in: La Salle could only muster 1.3 yards per carry. The Warriors didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.5.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Columbia, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past River View 41-18 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Coyotes needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Cle Elum-Roslyn is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.7 points on average over those games. As for Columbia, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Cle Elum-Roslyn was dealt a bruising 54-18 defeat at the hands of Columbia in their previous matchup back in November of 2021. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
