Volleyball Game Preview: Northridge Vikings vs. Centerburg Trojans

The Northridge Vikings will be taking part in a tournament against the Centerburg Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Northridge came up short against Heath and fell 3-1. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 15-25, 25-23.

Centerburg extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Molly Kain. The Trojans blew past River Valley 3-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Kain, who had 20 digs and five assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

While Centerburg might've won, it sure wasn't easy: River Valley scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

Centerburg's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.
