Softball Recap: Chandler Wolves vs. Basha Bears

Chandler extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 9-13-1. They lost 19-3 to the Basha Bears. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Bears when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lily Kolsrud was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Zoe Yesenski was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

As for Basha, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-5-2. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Coming up, Chandler will head out on the road to square off against Gilbert at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Basha will be paying especially close attention to the Wolves' contest: after the Wolves face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Basha again at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
