Volleyball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier lost against Waterford back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Frontier took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-23.

Elsie Malec was nothing short of spectacular for Waterford: she had 14 digs and six aces. Malec is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Waterford, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season.

Frontier will face off against Wood County Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterford has already played their next game (against Morgan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
