Football Recap: Pahokee Comes Up Short

If Pahokee was riding high fresh off their 34-0 takedown of Inlet Grove last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pahokee Blue Devils fell to the Cardinal Newman Crusaders 8-2.

Pahokee's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cardinal Newman, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pahokee will venture away from home to take on Palm Beach Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cardinal Newman, they will head out on the road to face off against St. John Paul II Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
