Recap: Ingomar Falcons vs. East Union Urchins
The Ingomar Falcons came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down East Union 63-49. That's another feather in the cap for Ingomar, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Macie Phifer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 35 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Bella Phifer, who scored nine points along with four blocks and two steals.
Ingomar is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for East Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ingomar will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Nettleton at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Nettleton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for East Union, they will head out on the road to face off against Walnut at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
