Baseball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry challenged Oakfield-Alabama in a bug-themed battle on Saturday. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 7-6.

Maximus Siewert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Harvey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Perry has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Oakfield-Alabama, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Perry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakfield-Alabama, they will head out to square off against Caledonia-Mumford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
