Basketball Game Preview: Parkridge Christian Panthers vs. Monarch Knights

The Parkridge Christian Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Monarch Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Parkridge Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

On Monday, Parkridge Christian was fully in charge, breezing past Non Varsity Opponent 63-35.

Parkridge Christian found their leader in sophomore Josh Clark, who shot 64% from the field on his way to 18 points along with eight boards and six assists. The matchup was Clark's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Makel Moraes was another key player, putting up 11 points and four steals.

Parkridge Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Monarch, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They took down West Boca Raton 50-35 on Tuesday.

Parkridge Christian's record now sits at 3-1. As for Monarch, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
