Baseball Recap: Cleveland Central Beats Canton for Their Third Straight Win

Cleveland Central entered their tilt with Canton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Tigers. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Jasper Lewis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Nathaniel Lessie was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Christian Lucas, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Cleveland Central's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Canton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
