The Summit Christian Academy Eagles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 63-43 margin over Mingo Valley Christian. Considering Summit Christian Academy has won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Mingo Valley Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tyler Neal, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Clary, who scored eight points.

Summit Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Mingo Valley Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Summit Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Sequoyah on January 5th.
