Baseball Recap: Addison Trail Comes Up Short

Addison Trail lost against Downers Grove South on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blazers lost 10-3 to the Mustangs. The Blazers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Addison Trail saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathon Valdez, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Addison Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Downers Grove South, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Addison Trail will welcome Downers Grove North at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Blazers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Downers Grove South, they will be playing at home against Glenbard West at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
