Volleyball Recap: William Allen Takes a Loss

William Allen lost against Allentown Central Catholic back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Canaries lost 3-0 to the Vikings. The Canaries have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-9.

Briana Bauer was a one-woman wrecking crew For Allentown Central Catholic. as she had 27 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Bauer has posted over her last four matchups. Another player making a difference was Lexie Visco, who had nine digs and two aces.

William Allen's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Allentown Central Catholic, they moved to 11-5-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. William Allen will square off against Palmerton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Allentown Central Catholic, they will take on Emmaus at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
