Soccer Recap: Minersville Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minersville). They blew past Weatherly 15-0 on Monday. It was an even better day for Jordan Bowers as he scored three goals for his team.

Minersville used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Weatherly. Collin Kadingo played for 30 minutes having averaged 13.5 this season and Zach Seddon got 60 vs. an average of 22.7. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Kadingo scored a goal and one assist, while he put up one assist.

The win (which was Minersville's seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those seven matches. As for Weatherly, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Minersville will square off against Lehighton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Weatherly, they will welcome Tri-Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
