Football Recap: Findlay Comes Up Short

Findlay dropped to 6-4 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 20-19 to the Anthony Wayne Generals. The game was a 10-10 toss-up at halftime, but the Trojans couldn't quite close it out.

As for Anthony Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Findlay: they've now won four in a row.

Anthony Wayne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Porter Brungard, who threw for 317 yards and two touchdowns while completing 88.1% of his passes. Brungard's passing game has become a key predictor of the Generals' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 3-4 otherwise. 83 of Brungard's passing yards were hauled in by Eli Donawa, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
