Softball Recap: Southeast Warren Comes Up Short

Southeast Warren managed to slip by Wayne the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warhawks came up short against the Falcons on Thursday, falling 10-3. The Warhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in July of 2024.

Southeast Warren's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Wayne, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Southeast Warren has already played their next game (against Nodaway Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wayne, they have also already played their next match, an 11-0 victory against Mount Ayr on the 13th.
