Basketball Game Preview: Louisa County Lions vs. J.R. Tucker Tigers

Having just played yesterday, the Louisa County Lions will head out on the road to face off against the J.R. Tucker Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Louisa County was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to Albemarle. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, J.R. Tucker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-24 loss at the hands of Deep Run. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Wildcats are ranked 47th).

J.R. Tucker's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Louisa County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.
