Basketball Recap: Freeman Takes a Loss

Freeman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 72-52 to the Cypress Woods Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-62 two weeks ago.

Freeman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Cypress Woods, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Freeman will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Tomas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cypress Woods, they will square off against Mansfield Summit at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
