Soccer Recap: Okeechobee Comes Up Short

Okeechobee was the 1-0 winner over John Carroll Catholic when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Brahmans fell just short of the Rams by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

Shyla Aguirre and Yuli Nunez scored all three of Okeechobee's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Okeechobee's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for John Carroll Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Okeechobee will venture away from home to take on Martin County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will welcome St. Edward's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
