Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Redwood walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Montgomery Vikings on Tuesday as they made off with a 51-31 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Giants, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Redwood's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Montgomery, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-10.

Coming up, Redwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Acalanes' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Montgomery does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
