Volleyball Recap: Alamogordo Takes a Loss

After flying high against Roswell on Tuesday, Alamogordo came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Artesia Bulldogs on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-14.

Alamogordo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Artesia, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alamogordo will challenge Ruidoso at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Artesia, they will face off against Carlsbad at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Cavemen/Cavegirls at the right time seeing as the Cavemen/Cavegirls are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
