Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Gateway Tech Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Keyla Yanou paced Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's offense, picking up seven kills. Yanou got some help from Claudia Ballester-Sarda and her 20 assists. Ballester-Sarda was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's win bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Gateway Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against McKinley Classical Leadership Academy on the 26th. As for Gateway Tech, they will face off against Crossroads at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
