Baseball Recap: Lincoln Lions vs. Del Mar Dons
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pioneer, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Del Mar Dons with a sharp 17-1 win. Considering the Lions have won four matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Colton Draminski looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lorenzo Collazo, who went 4-for-5 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Graeson Wagner, who scored a run while going 4-for-5.
Lincoln was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Del Mar only posted a batting average of .118.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
