Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Challis). They were the clear victors by a 74-50 margin over the Camas County Mushers on Friday. With that victory, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 52.5 points per game.

Challis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Parker Webster out in front who went 8-for-17 on his way to 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Webster has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ramey Rhoades, who shot 50% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to eight boards and seven assists.

Challis was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

The victory got Challis back to even at 4-4. As for Camas County, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Challis and Camas County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Vikings see the court they'll take on Sho-Ban at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Camas County, their break will end when they face Glenns Ferry at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
