Preview: Carlin Railroaders vs. Lund Mustangs
The Carlin Railroaders will head out on the road to take on the Lund Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Friday, Carlin came up short against Jackpot and fell 38-27.
In what's become a running theme this season, Lund gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They breezed by McDermitt at home to the tune of 59-21. The win was just what Lund needed coming off of a 78-36 defeat in their prior game.
Carlin's defeat was their 11th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-20. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.5 points per game. As for Lund, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Carlin lost to Lund on the road by a decisive 66-50 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Carlin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
