Volleyball Recap: Belen Jesuit Takes a Loss

Belen Jesuit lost against Southwest back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-16.

William Essig paced Belen Jesuit's offense, picking up nine kills. Essig got some help from Luke Diaz and his 11 assists.

Belen Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Southwest, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Belen Jesuit will face off against TERRA Environmental at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
