Football Recap: Farragut Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Farragut extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They came up short against the Maryville Red Rebels, falling 42-17. The Admirals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-10.

Corbin Hobson threw for 223 yards and two TDs. Max Garfield was his top target, picking up 115 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As for Maryville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.8 points on average over those games.

A big part of Maryville's victory came down to the chemistry between Will Jones and his top target Cohen Babelay. Jones threw for 114 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes while Babelay rushed for 67 yards and one score on only six carries.
