Kimberly has gone a perfect 10-0 against Appleton East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Papermakers will welcome the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Kimberly got the win against Hortonville by a conclusive 3-0. The Papermakers haven't had any issues with the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 25-19.

Emma Tesch was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 assists and eight digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 16 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Adia Munn, who had five aces and four digs.
Kimberly was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Appleton East rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Galloping Ghosts.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 23-25, 25-19.
Appleton East's win bumped their record up to 13-24. As for Kimberly, their victory bumped their record up to 28-13.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's matchup: Kimberly has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Appleton East struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Kimberly's way against Appleton East in their previous matchup back in September, as Kimberly made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Papermakers repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
