Volleyball Recap: Flint Hills Christian Comes Up Short

Flint Hills Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Veritas Christian Eagles, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since September 5th.

Flint Hills Christian was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 26-24, 30-28.

Flint Hills Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Veritas Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flint Hills Christian will face off against Northern Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Veritas Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heartland at 7:00 p.m. on October 16.
