Soccer Recap: Sullivan County Comes Up Short

Sullivan County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jersey Shore Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sullivan County of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Lucas King and Tucker Blasi scored all three of Sullivan County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Sullivan County's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Jersey Shore, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1.

Sullivan County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 defeat against Benton on the 16th. As for Jersey Shore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Loyalsock Township on the 16th.
