            Baseball Preview: Chaminade Flyers vs. Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders        
        
		
        
        
            The Chaminade Flyers are headed away from home for the first time to  take on  the Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday.
Chaminade is leaving town to face Archbishop Stepinac after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Chaminade fell just short of Iona Prep by a score of  8-6 on Wednesday. Sadly, the  loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.
Chaminade got a good showing from  Carlos Pereira, who   pitched three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits.
 At the plate,  Collin Anderson led a balanced group of hitters,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Jake Madsen, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 Meanwhile, Archbishop Stepinac sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over Archbishop Molloy  on Wednesday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Crusaders.
