Volleyball Recap: Collins Hill Takes a Loss

Collins Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Archer Tigers. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Collins Hill took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-18.

Destinee Evans paced Collins Hill's offense, picking up four kills. Evans got some help from Anna LaPerriere and her six assists. Kyndall Dupigny controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Jayana Castro was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and one assist.

Collins Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Archer, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Collins Hill will welcome Oconee County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Archer, they will challenge Duluth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
