After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brighton, Highland was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Summit Academy Bears with a sharp 22-10 victory. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Hanna Schultz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two triples. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (four). Another player making a difference was Makayla Eicholtz, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Highland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Highland now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Summit Academy, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
