Football Recap: Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford Piles Up the Points Against Haverling

Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford won the last time they faced Haverling and things went their way on Friday too. The Rivals breezed past the Rams to the tune of 38-8. The Rivals pushed the score to 25-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams had little chance of recovering from.

Brady McClurg had an outrageously good game as he threw for 132 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 41 yards and one TD. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Donovan Gaillard was McClurg's top target, picking up 46 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average over those games. As for Haverling, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
