Brookfield came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Weston Trojans. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won seven games by 12 runs or more so far this season.

Addasyn Coutts was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Pontecorvo, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Brookfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Weston only posted an OBP of .118.

Brookfield pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Weston, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Brookfield will challenge rival Pomperaug at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Weston is set to take on their familiar foe Stratford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
