Volleyball Recap: Fulton Comes Up Short

The Fulton Pirates came up short against the Laingsburg Wolfpack on Monday and fell 2-0. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fulton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22.

Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2. As for Laingsburg, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fulton will take on Coleman at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Pirates' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Laingsburg, they will head out to take on Bath at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Fighting Bees will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Wolfpack surely won't give up without a fight.
