Soccer Game Preview: Grace Christian vs. Palmer

The Grace Christian Grizzlies will venture away from home to challenge the Palmer Moose at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Grace Christian will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on April 2nd, then bounced right back against Houston on Saturday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Hawks.

Grace Christian hit Houston with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Faith Mondeel (2), Eden Rinner (2), and Abigail Clark.

Meanwhile, Palmer hadn't done well against North Pole recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Moose had just enough and edged out the Patriots 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Palmer.

Palmer's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Grace Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Grace Christian skirted past Palmer 2-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
