The Logan Grizzlies will square off against the Sky View Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Logan has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight losses, while Sky View will come in with three straight victories.
Last Saturday, Logan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 64-59 to Green Canyon. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Wolves are ranked 13th).

Logan might have lost, but man, Reed Olsen was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Olsen's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Max Clayton was another key player, putting up 11 points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sky View). They took down Mountain Crest 65-49 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Logan better focus on containing Zachary Oxborrow and Macade Rolle as the pair were huge in Sky View's win. Oxborrow went 6 for 9 on his way to 18 points, while Rolle went 7 of 13 en route to 20 points. Those 18 points gave Oxborrow a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Wilson, who posted six points.
Sky View pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Logan has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.2 boards per game. However, it's not like Sky View struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Logan was able to grind out a solid win over Sky View in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 57-45. Will Logan repeat their success, or does Sky View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
