Soccer Recap: Westview Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Westview was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Millard North Mustangs, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, Westview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Millard North are ranked fourth).

Westview's goal came courtesy of Logan Jokmsen, who's now up to two this season.

Westview has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Millard North, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Westview will challenge Lincoln High at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lincoln High will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Westview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Millard North, they have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Buena Vista on the 25th.
