Recap: Fayette Ware Wildcats vs. Bolton Wildcats

Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 15 more assists than your opponent, a fact the Fayette Ware Wildcats proved on Friday. They strolled past Bolton with points to spare, taking the game 66-48. Given Fayette Ware's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Bolton is ranked 200th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Eric Jones, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Hayes, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.

Despite the loss, Bolton saw an underclassman step up: Ethan Caswell scored 16 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was E'derian Washington, who scored eight points.

Fayette Ware has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Bolton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Fayette Ware will head out on the road to face off against Haywood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Haywood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday. Bolton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
