The Orestimba Warriors and the Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Titans will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Orestimba is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Orestimba ended up a good deal behind Hilmar and lost 63-48.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aspire Langston Hughes Academy). They breezed by Millennium to the tune of 68-33 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Titans have posted since February 6, 2024.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Orestimba, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Orestimba came out on top in a nail-biter against Aspire Langston Hughes Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2014, sneaking past 53-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Orestimba since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
