Football Recap: Shorewood's Undefeated Season over After Six Games + How To Watch

If Shorewood was feeling good fresh off their 37-13 takedown of Everett last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stormrays came up short against the Mountlake Terrace Hawks on Friday, falling 35-14. The matchup marked the Stormrays' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Julien Woodruff threw for 116 yards on 11 of 16 attempts. Lukas Wanke was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards. On the ground, Jeshuah MacIas rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Mountlake Terrace was led to victory by Owen Boswell and Mason Wilson. Boswell rushed for 140 yards and three scores, while Wilson threw for 100 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most rushing yards Boswell has posted since back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Shorewood fell to 5-1. As for Mountlake Terrace, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shorewood is set to face off against their familiar foe Edmonds-Woodway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Stormrays 13.8, the Warriors 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Mountlake Terrace will take on rival Everett at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
