Davenport entered their tilt with Lakeland on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Lakeland Dreadnaughts.

Davenport pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
