The Carson Senators's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They took a hard 60-42 fall against Reno. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Carson in their matchups with Reno: they've now lost four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Carson lost, one person who can't be blamed is Landon Hoff. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hoff has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dylan O'dell, who scored nine points.

Reno's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Levi Boyd, who scored 13 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Higgins, who scored 12 points.

Carson has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Reno, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.
