Football Recap: Barberton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Barberton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 38-21 to the Revere Minutemen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Magics of the 26-21 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Barberton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Revere, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Barberton and Revere could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Magics will take on Copley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (494 vs. 124). Meanwhile, Revere (ranked 189th) will meet Highland (ranked eighth) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
