Volleyball Recap: Niceville Victorious

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Niceville and South Walton, and Niceville kept the tradition alive. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Seahawks 3-2. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Niceville who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 17-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-12.

Kate Jannazo paced Niceville's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jannazo got some help from Carnley Summerlin and her 27 assists. Shelby Plasier controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
