Baseball Recap: Milby Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Four must be Milby's lucky number: they beat Skyline with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Buffs beat the Raiders by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buffs.

Rogelio Ontiveros was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cristobal Escobar, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Milby's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Skyline, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Looking ahead, Milby will venture away from home to take on South Houston at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Skyline, they will face off against Haltom at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
