Basketball Recap: Houghton Academy Comes Up Short

Houghton Academy lost against Fillmore back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Houghton Academy Panthers were beaten by the Fillmore Eagles 71-33.

Houghton Academy's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fillmore, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Houghton Academy will host Gow at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fillmore, they will be playing at home against Non Varsity Opponent on Friday.
