Basketball Recap: Forest Park Has No Trouble Against Winchester Community

On Saturday, the Forest Park Rangers made easy work of the Winchester Community Golden Falcons and carried off a 62-42 victory. The Rangers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Several Golden Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carter Fraze, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Hummel, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 11 points.

The win made it two in a row for Forest Park and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Winchester Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Forest Park has already played their next contest, a 68-47 victory against North Knox on the 28th. As for Winchester Community, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-42 win against Salem on the 28th.
