Basketball Recap: Wind River Comes Up Short

Wind River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rich Rebels, falling 69-47. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 57-50 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wind River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rich, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wind River will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Greybull at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Rich, they will head out to challenge Cokeville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Rich's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
