Basketball Recap: Brennan Now 12-1 over Last 13 Games

Brennan extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Janea Walls. The Brennan Bears really took it to the Marshall Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-33 victory thanks in part to Walls, who went 11 for 18 en route to 27 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Flemings, who posted 13 points and five boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emonee' Donaldson, who put up eight points.

Brennan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 19-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Marshall, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-14 record this season.

Brennan will head out to face off against Holmes at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Holmes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52 points per game this season. As for Marshall, they will welcome O'Connor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. O'Connor also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 51.4 points per game.
